“Simple Dishes are Not So Simple” – The Chuzhou Star Research Meeting and Sun Valley Food Safety Forum Held Successfully.

On August 25th, the Chuzhou Star Research Meeting and 2023 Sun Valley Food Safety Forum were successfully held. The event was jointly organized by Sun Valley Foods Co., Ltd. and the China Food Health Seven Star Alliance, with the support of Yikang Group. The conference attracted the participation of nearly 120 guests from government, research institutions, industry associations, and upstream and downstream enterprises. Since 2016, our company has successfully held an annual Food Safety Forum for eight consecutive years, focusing on food safety and quality to promote industry innovation and development. Our company was the recipient of the highest honor, the “Annual Star Diamond Enterprise” award in 2021, and we are committed to being a leader in safe, healthy, delicious, and sustainable protein products.

In the morning, the attendees gathered at Sun Valley Foods (Anhui) Co., Ltd. Nie Yurong, the Secretary-General of the Seven Star Alliance, Chen Mian, the CEO of Sun Valley Foods, and Duan Huike, the General Manager of Operations, delivered welcome speeches and enthusiastically introduced Sun Valley Foods Co., Ltd. The guests visited the primary processing and deep processing factories on-site, highly recognizing and affirming our company’s production processes and food safety quality management.

Sun Valley Foods, formerly known as Jiaji Protein China, was the recipient of the highest honor, the “Annual Star Diamond Enterprise” award in 2021.

In the afternoon, the participants came to the Jinrui Hotel in Chuzhou and engaged in a lively discussion entitled “Simple Dishes are Not So Simple.” Chen Mian, the CEO of Sun Valley Foods Co., Ltd., and Wang Haijia, the Deputy County Mayor of Lai’an County, delivered speeches. Prof. Qian He from Jiangnan University, Cao Fen, the FSQR Senior Manager of Sun Valley Foods, Qin Chunxia, the Director of Supply Chain Quality of Starbucks China, Lu Youkai, the Director of Food Safety at Yikang Group’s Food and Beverage Department, and Liu Xiaoqing, the Food Safety Director of Yonghui Colorful Food Fresh Factory, provided in-depth interpretations from different perspectives, including the current status and trends of the ready-to-eat vegetable industry, practical management of food safety in factories, control of pathogens in RTE foods, pain points and improvement measures for hygiene and food safety in ready-to-eat vegetable factories, and collaborative client-side efforts in building food safety. During the roundtable discussions on “How to Promote Healthy and Sustainable Development of the Ready-to-eat Vegetable Industry” and “In the Red Sea, How to Find Innovative Breakthroughs for Enterprises,” the guests shared and discussed relevant policies and guidance, innovative technologies in enterprises, and sustainable development of the industry.

With the support from all walks of life, the Star Research Meeting and 2023 Sun Valley Food Safety Forum achieved complete success.
